The cylindrical body, in scratch resistant PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate), dia. 70 mm, contains a fluorescent lamp with two end caps. By tightening the three screws on the side caps, an O-ring is compressed and adheres perfectly to the inner wall of the cylinder.
This closure guarantees a watertight seal of the IP 67 type. Watertight ceiling lamps are particularly suitable for lighting up machine tool work areas, where well-layered linear lighting of both the spindle and the work area is required. The machine tool operator always has excellent lighting even in the presence of water jets and coolant emulsions.
