Description

Features
The Mod 10 lamp of the Architectural Series was born in 1964 and has become RIMSA’s historic, distinctive and emblematic model.
Its reflector is composed of a fiberglass-filled nylon upper part and a lathe-turned iron lower part with a finishing rim. Both LED and incandescent bulbs can be used on this model with the E27 attachment. The arm with which the Mod 10 is equipped is a pantograph, ensuring high maneuverability in directing the light. Springs in the arm prevent returns after it has been moved for perfect stability in any position. The arm is also equipped with two knobs for adjusting the clutches.

Safety
The Mod 10 is also equipped with a protection cage, which can be used in medium-risk, automated and robotic environments if required. The product is a Class I device with grounding system and is guaranteed by the IMQ quality mark.

Colours
The colours available are glossy black, glossy white and glossy grey. The paints used by RIMSA for this model are epoxy, i.e. paints resistant to all kinds of corrosive agents.

Recommendations for use
Due to both its technical and aesthetic characteristics, this model is recommended in production lines, CNC systems, and offices. Among professionals, the Mod 10 has great success on workbenches as a lamp for drafting tables.

The reflector, initially made of a single aluminium element, has been replaced by two components: a bottom reflector made of turned iron with finishing edge and a top cap made of glass fibre filled nylon. After more than 50 years and 500,000 units sold, this lamp is still available to meet the needs of technicians, designers, architects and planners, ensuring a bright, clear and relaxing light.

The pantograph arm provides considerable manoeuvrability and allows easy product orientation. Perfect spring adjustment ensures precision movement without rebounds. Two knobs on the sides of the arm permit adjusting the clutches. The structure is made of drawn steel and is equipped with anti-unscrewing hardware. The product features oven-cured epoxy coating.
